Undoubtedly, Labaire's has become an asset to the Mumbles restaurant scene in the past year.

Realising a long-held ambition,Tim Cornelius, a trained chef born and bred in Gower, opened Labaire’s in December 2005 together with his wife, Beth. Tim named it Labaire’s, her maiden name. Tim creates a varied menu of delicate flavours and sauces. The menu is enhanced by a unique wine list, carefully chosen by Cheers Wine
Merchants and frequently changing. Tim’s influences come from years of expertise gained whilst cooking for discerning clientele aboard private yachts throughout the Caribbean, Thailand, the Mediterranean and America.

With clear views of Oystermouth castle during the day and stunning views when illuminated at night, Labaire’s intimate ambience is created by the modern, warm décor and subtle lighting. The snug dining corner is perfect for
celebrating with family and friends, and a small upstairs dining room (seating 16) is perfect for private parties.
