The Dragon Hotel
As The Dragon Brasserie launches into its second year of serving the freshly prepared snacks and meals for which it has become renowned, it is difficult to remember life in the heart of Swansea without the chic, stylish eatery. Seamlessly merging with one of the city centre's cornerstone institutions in 2005, The Dragon Brasserie has since earned the right to be recognised in its own right with head chef Sam Thomas achieving his short term goal of an AA Rosette.

Open daily from 10:00am-9:30pm, Monday to Thursday, 10.00am-10.00pm, Friday and Saturday. From early evening onwards on Sundays, The Dragon Brasserie offers excellent value lunch and dinner menus and serves a variety of coffee, snacks and light fare throughout the day. An extensive selection of wines, many offered by the glass, is also available to compliment any occasion. Passionate about showcasing local delicacies and supporting the home economy by using, wherever feasible, locally sourced produce and suppliers, chef Sam however does not stop at The Dragon Brasserie.

Extending his philosophies and expertise into every culinary aspect of The Dragon Hotel, the same care and attention to detail is also bestowed upon the hotel’s sumptuous wedding and banquet menus. Indeed,there is no better place to enjoy life’s special occasions than The Dragon Hotel. The team is eager to tailor make any event to suit your specifications – a service not so readily available in today’s hospitality market: “When it comes to special occasions many people know exactly what they want. It seems ludicrous therefore to force set menus onto people when their requests are more often than not just as painless to execute as my own menu options” says chef Sam. Whether it be as elaborate as a midnight feast or as simple as a specific sandwich filling, we can cater for most requests.
